Head Captain- Julie Rehacek

Hi! My name is Julie! I am a senior and a four year member of the Quartz Hill High School dance team. My GPA is a 4.1 and i have been dancing since i was 2 years old. My favorite thing about the team is the bond we have made with each other and the friendships i’ve made with the group. One fun fact about me is I am a teacher at a local dance studio!

Senior Captain- Jake Gonzalez

Hi, my name is Jake, I’m a senior and this is my fourth year on the Quartz Hill High School Dance Team. My GPA is a 3.0, and I’ve been dancing since I was eight years old. My favorite thing about being on QHDT is being around my teammates . A fun fact is that I have taken 3 years of Mandarin classes!

Senior- Emma Jackson

Hi! My name is Emma and I’m a senior. This is my second year on Quartz Hill High School Dance Team and I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. My GPA is a 4.0 and my favorite thing about dance team is the friends I have made and how supportive the team is. A fun fact about me is that I’m one of the Arabian Leads in The Antelope Valley Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” this year.

Senior- Katelyn Keith

Hi, my name is Katelyn Keith! I am a senior and this is my first year on the Quartz Hill High School Dance team! I have been dancing since I was about 3-4 years old, so about 15 years. My favorite thing about being on the QHDT is how encouraging everyone is, and how much of a family we are! My GPA is a 3.8. A fun fact about me is that I am part of ASB as the Senior Class Secretary, as well as part of the TV and Film academy!

Junior Captain- Jae Jones

Hi! My name is Jae, I am the junior captain for the Quartz Hill High School Dance Team! I have been on the team for 3 years now and I have a 4.0 gpa. My favorite thing about being on the QHDT is being able to constantly dance with people who are always pushing me to be a better person and dancer! A fun fact about me is that I also love to snowboard and paint when I find time outside of dance!

Junior Officer- Gillian Waid

Hi, my name is Gillian! I’m a junior, and this is my third year on the Quartz Hill High School Dance Team. I have a 4.2 GPA, and I’ve been dancing since I was four years old. My favorite thing about being on QHDT is performing at competitions and at Nationals. A fun fact about me is that I’m a Primetime cheer coach and volunteer with our Primetime athletes.

Junior- Mimi Jordan

Hi! My name is Mimi and I am a junior on my 3rd year with Quartz Hill High School’s Dance team! I have a 3.4 GPA and have been dancing since I was 3. My favorite thing about QHDT is making memories with my teammates especially the days right before comps, and our after comp dinners. A fun fact about me is that I am on Quartz Hill High School’s year book as a photographer.

Sophomore- Hannah Golan

Hi! My name is Hannah. I’m a sophomore on the Quartz Hill High School Dance team and this is my second year on the team. I’ve been dancing since I was 9 years old. My favorite thing about QHDT is working hard and growing as a dancer and person alongside my teammates who I’m so grateful for! I have a 4.0 GPA and I’m a Primetime cheer coach and volunteer for our primetime athletes.

Sophomore- Izzy Merino

Hi! My name is Izzy Merino I'm a sophomore!! This is my 2nd year being apart of QHDT and I've been dancing for 13 years!!! My GPA is 3.17. My favorite thing about my team is how close we are, they really are my second family. Fun fact about me is that I really want to be a lawyer and work with family law!

Sophomore- Gwen Robertson

Hey my name is Gwen I’m a sophomore and I have been on the Quartz hill high school dance team for two years now and my GPA is a 4.0 and I have been dancing ever since I was 3 years old. My favorite thing about the dance team is that we are a family and we are all really close with each other, a fun fact about me is I am a Primetime coach and a volunteer for our Primetime athletes and my favorite style of dance is hip hop!!

Sophomore- Gracen Murphy

Hey ya’ll! My name is Gracen, and I’m a sophomore this year. This is my first season with QHDT, and I’ve been dancing since I was 4 years old. I have a 4.3 GPA, and outside of dance I’m involved in the Prime Time program as a volunteer coach and Mock Trial as both a prosecution and defense witness. My favorite thing about being on QHDT is the way that everyone involved becomes a big family that is there for each other no matter what. I’m also so grateful for the professional and committed environment on the team and the quality of training we receive every single day.

Freshman- Addyson Miller

Hi, my name is Addyson! I am a freshman and this is my first year on Quartz Hill high school dance team. My GPA is a 4.3 and I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. My favorite thing about the team is the friendships made and how we all grow together. Some fun facts about me is that I am a primetime coach and a volunteer for our primetime athletes I am also the only freshman on our team!!!
